Experience

Dr Tania Chin is a General Practitioner and Assistant Chief Medical Officer for Nuvo Health, with over 15 years of experience caring for women and families across all stages of life.

Dr Chin graduated from the University of New South Wales with First Class Honours, holds a Diploma in Paediatrics, and attained her Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2011.

She has developed a special interest and expertise in women’s health, including menstrual concerns, contraception, sexual health, breast and cervical screening, pregnancy care, endometriosis, pelvic pain, as well as the management of perimenopause and menopause. Dr Chin is passionate about empowering women navigating hormonal transitions to make informed decisions as they explore suitable options for hormone therapy, weight management as well as long term strategies for metabolic, bone, and heart protection.

Her experience includes working as a menopause GP for Juniper, an online Telehealth platform providing care to women across metropolitan, rural and remote Australia. Dr Chin currently practises in Sydney’s Inner West and is accredited for antenatal (pregnancy) shared care with Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and Canterbury Hospital. She is a member of the Australasian Menopause Society.

Outside of medicine, she is a mother of three and enjoys spending time with her family, reading and travelling.
